Thank You – LISA
A big thank you to Lisa Driver who has been volunteering her time to cover new library books so that they can be added to our new Library Learning Centre.
Volunteers Needed
There are many different ways you can help out around the school. Not all volunteer roles work directly with children and some can be done from the comfort of your own home.
Here are some of the current ways you can assist us with your child’s learning;
- Covering new books for the Library
- Preparing resources to support programs by laminating and cutting
- Reading with children
- Working in the Urban Farm or on the grounds
Please come and speak to Sam F if you have some time you would like to donate for these or any other roles.
NAPLAN – Finished today!
Congratulations to all students in Years 3 and 5 on their fantastic efforts with NAPLAN this week. It can be a very anxious time for some students. All three of my own children were participating this year, so I empathise with your families. If any student was absent during testing there will be opportunity to catch up on Friday. It is wonderful to see the motivation and determination displayed by our wonderful students to do their best.
As always, if you have any concerns or celebrations you wish to share please come and see myself, Kris or Samantha at any time.
