Rebuild InformationStage 1
Monday morning saw many excited faces of students and staff as they began working in the new Learning Spaces. The buildings are complete and over Term 3 we will see the commencement of landscaping works in preparation for synthetic turf at the amphitheater and other smaller works on garden beds.

Rebuild InformationStage 2
Stage 2 of our rebuild will see the demolition and rebuild of the Main Building. Plans are currently being drawn up by the builder and architects.   We have handover of our temporary Administration Building on Talintyre Road this week. Over the next few weeks a planned Administration move will take place. We will keep our community informed as much as possible to limit inconvenience. Please note that we have been informed that at some stage this term the Kermeen Street entry to the school will be closed. All pedestrian access will then transfer to the Talintyre Road entry when it is completed. Demolition will begin on the Main Building after we have moved. More information will be made available as it comes to hand.

DOXA Malmsbury Camp – 3-6 Learning Space Next Week
Monday morning all 3-6 Campers are to meet at the Sunshine Station at 9.15am. Campers will return to Sunshine Station at 2.30pm on Wednesday. Camp is a great opportunity for the students and staff to build relationships and have a fantastic time. We wish them all the best and safe travels. The Parent Information Session Last night saw over 30 families attend, which was a fantastic turn out.

Staffing News
This week we welcomed Renee to the Allied Health Team. Renee will be our new part-time Speech Therapist, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Renee has extensive experience working with students and families to offer targeted support for speech articulation and language needs. If you see Renee around say “Hi” and introduce yourself.

Uniform
It is pleasing to see most students in full uniform. A reminder that blue is our main colour. Any undershirts can be light blue or white and leggings must be navy. There is a full range of affordable uniform items available from the office, and local businesses. Including warm jackets to counter the cold winds during winter. If you would like assistance with purchasing uniforms please come and speak to Kathy, Jenny or Kellie in the office.

Riding to School
It is a legal requirement that all students wear bike safety equipment such as helmets, when riding a bicycle or a scooter to and from school. Any students not wearing a helmet must walk their bike home or leave it at school until they return with a helmet.
