Bravehearts Incursion

Next Tuesday 24th October there is a free incursion for students in Prep to Year 4 presented on personal safety.  The five basic principles we need to teach children are:

  • To trust their feelings and to distinguish between ‘yes’ and ‘no’ feelings
  • To say ‘no’ to adults if they feel unsafe or unsure
  • That they own their bodies
  • That nothing is so yucky that they can’t tell someone about it
  • That if they feel unsafe or unsure to run and tell someone they trust

More information can be found on their website . This incursion is an Opt Out incursion meaning that all students will attend unless parent’s request that their child does not attend.  Any questions please call the school and speak to myself, Kris or Phoebe.

Mini-Art Exhibition

Looking forward to an exciting Mini-Art Expo next Thursday 26th October from 4.30-6.30pm in the Art room. Remember that all students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian as no teacher supervision is provided.  We look forward to seeing you there.

2018 Enrolments & School Tours

We are currently finalising our 2018 enrolments. If you have a child due to start in 2018, or know of a child due to start please ensure you complete your enrolment ASAP. This includes children enrolling at ANY year level of the school. We need accurate enrolment numbers to assist with finalising staffing and programming.

As always, if you have any concerns or celebrations you wish to share please come and see myself or Kris any time.
