Welcome to our first DIGITAL newsletter
Thank you for supporting our move to a completely digital format. This will save us resources, time and the environment. We encourage you, our faithful readers, to ask other families if they have accessed the newsletter through COMPASS or on our website. Feel free to show them how easy it is to access COMPASS to stay up to date on all happenings at our school.

Bunnings BBQ Thankyou
A HUGE thankyou to all the families who came and helped out last Sunday at the School Council fundraiser. Thank you to Matthew, Fiona, Lisa, Jodie, Chantelle, Sarah M, Rose, Walter, Rachael, Mackenzie, Mary, Brianna, Deane, Josie, Kate, Sam F and Kris. Despite the weather it was a great day and fun was had by all. And a big thankyou to our organisers Matthew and Sarah for organizing this event and driving community engagement. We had a great outcome of raising $1000+ and look forward to our many school council initiatives that we have in the works.
Volunteer Thank You Afternoon Tea
We would like to invite all of our wonderful volunteers to a Thank You afternoon tea which will be held in our staff room from 1.45pm – 2.15pm next Thursday 12th of December. You may have offered support through being on School Council, attending an excursion, covering books in the library, cooking at a BBQ, selling raffle tickets or helping out at Breakfast Club. Our students and staff would like to share with you a small appreciation of our thanks by enjoying this time with you. Please RSVP to the office so we know how many to cater for.
End of Year Student Reports
We have access to a fantastic online communication tool COMPASS which enables us to have a 1-stop-shop for our school-home communication needs. If you don’t already have access to COMPASS, feel free to come to the office and ask for your unique username and password for access. End of year student reports will be made available directly through COMPASS during the last week of term. If you require a printed report, you will need to request this through the office before Friday 13th December.

Items of personal property that are lost, stolen or damaged at school are not the responsibility of Glengala Primary School or the Department. Staff and students are reminded not to bring items of value to school. Parents are urged to include items of value on their own household insurance policies or seek advice regarding personal insurance to cover any items which may travel outside of your house.
