Year 6 Graduation
Tuesday evening saw a wonderful evening for our Graduating Year 6. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the hard work and community spirit that this years Year 6’s have developed over their time at Glengala. Next week they all get to enjoy their Big Day Out and have a group lunch to celebrate their final week in Primary School. We wish them all the best for their wonderful futures ahead!
Rebuild Information
We have had a sneak peek at the materials that are proposed for the new building. The majority of resources are Australian made and sourced so our project will go a long way to support the local economy. Tenders were due this week and hopefully we should have a builder appointed in the next week or so. The portables have continued to be prepared and we should expect to have access to them in the final week of school. We will continue to keep you as informed as possible as information becomes available.
Christmas Carols Concert – Monday 5pm for a 6pm start
Monday 18th December from 5pm for a 6pm concert start. Families are welcome to bring a blanket, picnic and chairs and enjoy an evening of signing, laughter and celebration as we say farewell to 2017. There will be a sausage sizzle and drinks available to purchase from the canteen on the night. All learning spaces are sharing 2 performances and our Choir and student leaders will be performing.
End of Year Reports – To be handed out in the last week of school
Staff have been spending many weeks, and weekends, preparing the end of year student reports, which will be handed out to families in the last week of school. Many students have shown fantastic growth in a range of learning areas. If you would like a parent teacher interview, please contact your learning space teachers to make arrangements prior to this time.
Volunteer and Helper Morning Tea – Wednesday 11am-11.30am in the Staff Room
