Thank you for coming to the Secondary School Transition Information Session

Thank you to Grant and the team for holding our information session for families preparing to transition to secondary school. This information session outlined the process and included visitors from Sunshine Secondary College to provide families with information about their school.  This information might provide support for families to help our children have a safe and exciting transition to secondary school.

Staffing News

Tomorrow, we farewell Louise who begins her maternity leave.  We wish her and Michael all the best for the safe arrival of their baby very soon.

On Monday, we have Haylie Saarinen commencing in her role as our new STEM teacher.  STEM is a subject that encompasses Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.  Haylie will be working Monday and Wednesdays with students in the 1/2 and 5/6 Learning Space this semester.

Easter Raffle Donations

We are calling for donations for our annual Easter Egg Raffle to include in our prizes. Next Friday the 8th of March, we will be having an out of uniform day for students; please bring an Easter egg to donate to the raffle.  If you’re unable to bring some Easter Eggs/Bunnies, students can still come out of uniform however, are required to bring a gold coin. Funds raised will be used to purchase raffle prizes. Please drop off any donations to the office.

The Easter Raffle will be drawn on Wednesday 3rd April, in the last week of school for the term. Raffle books will come home with each student next week. We will have special prizes for the families who sell the most raffle tickets in F-2 and 3-6.

Rebuild Information – Work Continuing

Asbestos removal will continue of weekends with site demolition commencing in March.

Volunteer and Helpers Information

Would you like to volunteer your time around the school? You can help out in;

  • Our Learning Spaces
  • Breakfast Club
  • PMP with our Foundation students
  • Covering books for the library

All volunteers require a Working With Children check which are free to obtain through www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au . Just present your card or your receipt at the office to register for an appointment with Sam C.

Enrolments & School Tours

Enrolment Tours are every week on Thursday 9.15am. Please call the office to book a place.

As always, if you have any concerns or celebrations you wish to share, please come and see myself Sam C or Kris any time.
