Harmony Day
It was fantastic to see so many students in cultural dress or in orange yesterday to celebrate Harmony Day; a day when Australians celebrate our cultural diversity. The day is also the United Nation’s International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. To support this, we spent 2 hours working in our buddy grades completing various activities aimed at celebrating and embracing our diversity. Our annual shared lunch was also a huge hit with many yummy plates of food coming in throughout the morning and many parents joining us for the feast. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our day by wearing national dress, bringing some cultural food or enjoying the buddy activities held. I’m already looking forward to our 2018 celebration!
Easter Raffle
Tomorrow we have an out of uniform day where students are asked to bring Easter Eggs to include in our raffle prizes. If you’re unable to bring some Easter Eggs students can still come out of uniform however are required to bring a gold coin.
The Easter Raffle will be drawn next Friday morning. All ticket stubs and money must be returned by 9am Friday 31st of March for inclusion in the draw. Remember we have special prizes for the students who sell the most raffle tickets. Extra books of tickets can be collected from the office.

School Tours & Enrolments
Tours of our wonderful school for families interested in enrolling their child in 2018 have already begun. If you would like a tour, have friends or neighbours who would like a tour please contact the school to book a place. If you have a child due to start in 2018 please complete your enrolment and drop it off at the front office. Should you know of a child due to start school in 2018 please remind their parents to hand their enrolment forms in. Early accurate enrolment numbers greatly assist with staffing and programming planning for next year.
End of Term – Friday 31st March—1.40pm
It’s hard to believe but next Friday 31st March is the last day of Term 1! At the end of Term 1, 2 and 3 we finish school an hour earlier than usual. With our recess break finishing at 2.15pm our students will actually finish school for the term at 1.40pm. Please ensure that arrangements have been made for your children to be collected early on this day or booked into Kelly Club for After School Care.
If you have questions, feedback or are experiencing any difficulties please don’t hesitate to contact either Sam C, Sam F or myself via phone, sending us an email or come and have a chat.
