End of Term – TOMORROW – Friday 5th April
It’s hard to believe but tomorrow is the last day of Term 1! Being the last day of term, we finish earlier – 1:40pm. Kelly Club will be operating from 1:45pm if you require this service, please book by phoning 0423 795 982.
Tomorrow will also be an out of uniform day with gold coin donation. Money raised will be going towards our support of the “Hoodie Up” campaign raising awareness and understanding of Autism.
School Security
We seek your assistance in discouraging any people who may misuse our grounds over the upcoming holidays. If you happen to notice any person on our school grounds that are engaging in any type of dangerous or destructive behaviour, please do not hesitate to call the police on 000.
Swimming Program
A notice regarding our 2019 Swimming Program came home this week. Please return permission forms and payment or a deposit ASAP, as places fill up very quickly. As with any program requiring payment, if you are experiencing difficulties paying, please come and have a chat with Kellie or myself. We will always find a way to make sure everyone is able to access our programs. Swimming will be held over 9 days towards the end of Term 2, from Tuesday 11th June until Friday 21st June.
Staffing Update – Baby News
Congratulations to two staff members on the recent arrival of babies. Grant and his wife Kristy welcomed baby Chad, while Louise and her partner Michael welcomed baby Mila. All are doing really well. We’re excited to have our Glengala Family continuing to grow.
School Tours & Enrolments
Tours of our wonderful school for families interested in enrolling their child in 2020 have already begun. If you would like a tour or have friends or neighbours who would like a tour please contact the school to book a place. If you have a child due to start in 2020, please complete your enrolment and drop it off at the front office. Should you know of a child due to start school in 2020 please remind their parents to hand in their enrolment forms too. Early accurate enrolment numbers greatly assist with staffing and programming planning for next year, especially as we open the second and final stage of our complete school rebuild.
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a restful and safe term break. I look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday 23rd April ready for a busy Term 2.
