Parent Opinion Survey Due Monday 28th August
If you received a Parent Opinion Survey invitation you have until the 28th of August to complete it. If you received a paper copy, this can be returned to the office. Those who received an email survey link, but can no longer access their personalized link, please contact the office. Your family will receive a free canteen voucher on completion of the survey.
Concert! – Next THURSDAY
Next Thursday evening our whole school will perform in our annual concert. This year’s theme is Kindness. Students and staff have been hard at work learning words, practicing moves and getting very excited for their performances. Year 6 students will be selling $1 chocolates for the night to raise money for their graduation. We look forward to seeing you and sharing a wonderful evening of singing and dancing from 5.45pm at Sunshine College Senior Campus.
Parents and caregivers are required to attend concert with their children. Students must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the concert. No students can be dropped off, or left unattended. Students are required to sit with their Learning Space teachers once they have been signed in by a parent in the auditorium. Students are then required to be signed out by a parent at the conclusion of the concert.
Camp Years 3-6 – INFORMATION NIGHT
Next Wednesday 30th of August at 6pm until approximately 6.30pm there will be a camp information session for parents with students in years 3-6 who are attending camp on the 6th– 8th of September. This will provide information about what to pack, camp activities and programming.
Dropping Off Lunch For Your Child?
Please note that if you need to drop off your child’s lunch to the school for any reason lunches must be left at the office and students will be able to collect them during lunch eating time. Please let your child know that they can expect their lunch to be at the office. When time comes for Learning Spaces to eat lunch teachers will send your child to the office to collect it. Thank you for your assistance with this as it will ensure a safe and orderly eating time and minimise disruptions to valuable learning time.
2018 Enrolments & School Tours
We are currently finalising our 2018 enrolments. If you have a child due to start in 2018, or know of a child due to start please ensure you complete your enrolment ASAP. This includes children enrolling at ANY year level of the school. We need accurate enrolment numbers to assist with staffing and programming.
Please return any out-standing permission forms this week to allow for finalisation of numbers.
NAPLAN Results Ready for Collection
Year 3 and 5 parents are required to attend the office to personally collect NAPLAN test results. Results are unable to be sent home with students. Feel free to come and see Kellie or Jenny to collect your individual envelope.
